Kalia shares how she felt equipped to lead her first guided meditation because of the train-the-trainer model. She appreciated having the manual and mock sessions to practice from, as well as feedback.
Legacy shares that their experience was beneficial in Mindful Ministries Collective because they don’t take enough time to prioritize self-care, even though they preach it all the time!
Iyon’a shares how being a facilitator was beneficial to her during our first Mindful Ministries Collective Cohort because she identified a lot of the challenges that the young people go through is what young adults go through as well.
Siniya mentions how she has always liked the meditation part of yoga and want to lean more into guided meditation from coping skills she was already practicing in therapy.
Zoe joined Mindful Ministries Collective to be in a healing space and lean into self-care. She practiced meditation during the time we weren’t in session to keep up a routine.
